Single Sign-On (SSO)

1. WHAT IS SINGLE SIGN-ON (SSO)?

Single Sign-On (SSO) lets your team access Lean Agile Intelligence (LAI) using the same username and password they already use at work.

Instead of creating and remembering a separate LAI password, users sign in through your company’s identity system (such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory or another SAML-based provider).

2. WHY ORGANIZATIONS CHOOSE SSO FOR LAI

Better Security
Your IT team controls password rules, multi-factor authentication, and account security.

Fewer Passwords
Users don’t need to manage another login for LAI.

Centralized User Management
Add, remove, or update users in one place (your identity provider).

Faster Onboarding
New users can be granted access quickly using existing company accounts.

What Lean Agile Intelligence Supports

  • Industry-standard SAML 2.0 SSO

  • Works with Azure Active Directory and other SAML-compliant identity providers

  • Secure, trust-based connection between your system and LAI

  • In the navigation bar, go to Organization Setup and select Member Attributes.

3. HOW DOES IT WORK

How It Works (High Level)

  1. A user goes to your company’s LAI SSO login link.

  2. They are redirected to your organization’s login system.

  3. After successful authentication, they are automatically signed into LAI.

From the user’s perspective, it feels seamless.

What the One-Time Setup Looks Like

SSO is configured once between your IT team and Lean Agile Intelligence:

  • Your identity provider shares connection details with LAI

  • LAI creates a custom SSO login link for your organization

  • Existing users are converted to SSO-only access

After setup, all users log in through SSO.

How New Users Are Added

  • Add the user to your company’s identity provider

  • Invite them in LAI

  • They receive an email and log in using SSO

Simple and consistent.

Important Things to Know

  • Sessions automatically expire after a few hours for security

  • Users should bookmark their SSO login link for easy access

  • Participant-only users (survey respondents) do not need to log in
